Another great place to make some gold fairly quickly is in the Howling Hollow. Here you can farm Crystallized Air and Relics of Ulduar from Scions of Storm. This is a fairly large cave with many mobs in it.
I use my mage to farm here and I can make it through the cave in about 7 minutes and by the time you comeback out, the mobs will already start spawning about, so there is really no down time between mobs beside running from one to the other. One great thing about the Scions of Storm is that after you kill one, you can stand in the cloud of smoke/air and it increases your running speed by 50% for 10 seconds, so it is a great way to travel through the cave.
Another way to make a little more money in the Howling Hollow is to have mining as one of your professions. Each time around you will find 2 or 3 saronite veins and if you are lucky you also might find a titanium vein. This with certainly increase the amount of gold made in this area by a lot if you mine these while you farm.
Crystallized Air sells for about 3g-5g individually or sell for about 15g-30g as Eternal Air. After farming for an hour I made about 150g in trash items and had about 5 stacks of Crystallized Air and around 50 Relics of Ulduar. Plus I am also a miner, so I mined about 2 stacks of saronite ore. So overall this can make you around 200g-400g per hour.
